Project managers are challenged when their projects require non traditional approaches to manage the constantly changing scope, limited resources, and evolving technology. This workshop advances the core concepts of project management as outlined in the Project Management Institute (PMI)'s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) to address these situations. Using a hands-on approach, it helps the participants identify and implement various agile methods to successfully manage their projects.

Learn 7+ agile techniques, meet PMI-ACP education requirements, and gain the knowledge and skills to apply agile project management techniques to real life situations!

Workshop Objectives:

This workshop provides a balanced exposure to the following aspects of Agile Project Management:
Define agile projects
Differentiate between various agile techniques and know when and how to apply them
Understand the role of the project manager in the agile project environment
Review tools and technology to manage agile projects Learn the importance of communication, change and risk management to successfully manage agile projects

Workshop Description:

This workshop will include lectures, exercises, and discussions. The emphasis is on participant discussions and exercises. Participants will be provided with a Participant Handbook.
